So since hitting 70 I've been so damn busy with uni I've barely logged in. Until Friday when we did a guild Kara run. I got 6 epics in the 1 run. :D :D

Then did H Mech, 1 more epic and an awesome blue trinket.

The think about Dreadmaul is because its only new and there hasn't been much in the way of big raiding guilds, It doesn't take long to get runs through things that I normally wouldn't get a look in on. Spectre has already done Kara, and I expect a trip into SLabs isn't going to be too hard to find. So I'll probably be replacing my gear soon. But for now most of my gear will last me through some battlegrounds and dailys :).

Oh and having a flying mount is teh awesomeness!!!!

YAY for Jigga Penguins getting 2nd in Nationals. Also Yay for all my friends playing so awesomely all week, some of them placing. I had an awesome time and met some great people. Apparently I did ok in Womens too, but I'm still disappointed I didn't place. Oh well. Was a mad week, sad its over, but at the same time very very glad its over.

One week off and now I have a nightmare load of things to do. Aside from the general catch up on lectures and tute work I have:
- 2 group project proposals Due next Friday
- A 1000 review of a research proposal due Today (ok so I have an extension till next Tuesday, but it WAS due today)
- A third group project plan thinggy (not really a formal proposal) for which I don't even have a group yet.

Having the superflu isn't really helping things. I'm all fuzzy headed and everytime I start thinking clearly I start coughing. Perhaps I'm just allergic to thinking.

Lost my purse on the first day of Nationals. Got my bank card today YAY!! Means I can now go about the painful process of obtaining all my other cards. First on the list is my drivers licence, because most of my other cards wont be issued without that as ID. Hopefully the Passport I have (photo from when I was 17) will be ok for ID to get my Licence. Lucky its still in date too. Then after that my student card, and probably a working with children card seen as I need one for work. I cant even remember what other cards were in my purse so I guess those aren't very important. Oh wait, SmartRider and Medicare Card, should probably grab those too.

Well thats enough rambling for one day. Better get back to this uni stuff.

Yesterday was lovely, as far as birthdays in the middle of the week go. I spent most of the day in my PJ's talking to people on msn and playing wow. Also got somewhat of a sleep in which was nice. Thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes.

So I have a new shiny toy. Matt got me the Sony Ericsson k850i phone, which has a 5megapixel camera!! V shiny, takes rather nice photo's. Also makes phonecalls, a feature I think is significantly important with phones.

Uni is already mental, and taking the week of for nats isn't going to help.

Nationals... yeh thats going to be scary. I hope we are ready, i know the other guys are, but well... i've always been the weak link in the team. Well hopefully it goes well. *fingers crossed*

Yesterdays exam was... pretty bad. Sure I didn't do much work on it over the semester, but it was an easy unit, and I did good in all the continuous assessment. But her exam questions were so infuriatingly vague, it was a hell mission to just decipher what she was actually asking. She was clearing trying not to give away any clues in the questions, but to go to the extend of making the questions completely vague or tangential to the subject, well thats just stupid. Well I answered them all, thats got to be something, and I only needed 51% in the exam to pass the unit. *fingers crossed*

Physical Oceanography tomorrow. No idea what to expect. Chelle, who did the unit a couple of years ago, said the exam was a lot easier than the assignments. I hope so cause its worth 70% and I totally cocked up most of the assignments. Times when my poor math skills let me down. Would help if Chari actually made sense in his lectures and didn't dither or skip through the tricky stuff. I'm a wiz at explaining ocean currents but when it comes to working out the difference in height of 2 water bodies I don't have a fracking clue. And yes I went to BOTH those classes. On the plus side the exam format sounds like its going to be nice and let us avoid certain areas we struggled with. The good old "Answer 6 questions out of 8". We also get an equation sheet and graphs (no idea why we are getting graphs or what graphs we are getting, but WOOHOO we get them).

Realised yesterday that its not the actual pressure of exams themselves that worries me anymore. I mean christ, its my 4th year of uni, how many exams have I done now? Immediately before and during the exam I'm actually quite calm. It the lack of complete understanding that bothers me, because lately I've been going into exams only about 50% prepared, and I guess thats what is causeing the stress, the headaches, the lack of sleep, the acne (I mean seriously, I haven't had bad acne in years *rage*)

I've got Asha fixing up my bank accounts for me, shes getting me a NetSaver, in theory this will help me not spend so much money. Or something like that. I just realised that my yearly earnings are less that the yearly amount I pay in rent. (Based on me earning an average of $150 a week, although some weeks its nearly $300). If mum and dad didn't sent pity money once a month I'd probably be living on the street or not eating. Fuel prices are raping my money... solution: stop using the car? Well its a damn long walk to work (30min drive).

At least I like my job, and get free zone because of my job.

Well back to cramming as much into my head as I can before tomorrow afternoon.
